Jesuit Novices Visit GSS
Twelve Jesuit Novices toured The Good Shepherd School in order to learn about one of the various missions founded by Jesuit, Fr. Harry Tompson, S.J. These first year Jesuits just completed their 30-day retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola and visited with several of our classrooms where they engaged in student-led dialogue. The topics ranged from priesthood to purgatory and the young men just may have benefited more from the visit then the kids as we find is often the case when we have visitors. They even dabbed with the 1st graders! Thank you, to Mary Baudoin, Provincial Assistant for Social Ministries, for helping to coordinate the visit!
