2024 Fr. Harry Tompson Golf Classic

The 2024 Fr Harry Tompson Golf Classic teed off on March 22 at the Lakewood Golf Club.   Before tee-off, the golfers registered and were given a pair of Goodr golf glasses as a special thank you gift.  They were also treated to a lunch of fried chicken, lobster mac and cheese, green beans, bread pudding, and corn bread muffins provided by New Orleans Marriott. 

After a crazy series of thunderstorms overnight and in the morning, the course was perfectly clear and perfect for a 12:30 tee off.  Even more surprisingly, the course was dry by tee off.  With perfect weather, a clear day, and the excitement to be supporting a great cause, the golfers returned from their 18 hole adventure with some low scores.
