2022 Fr Harry Tompson Golf Classic

The 2022 Fr Harry Tompson Golf Classic teed off on March 25 at the Lakewood Golf Club.   Before tee-off, the golfers registered and were given a pair of Puma golf shoes as a special thank you gift.  They were then treated to a breakfast of NOLA grits provided by Fidelity Bank, coffee from PJ's, and fruit with pastries provided by Caffe Latte Da.  An opening prayer led into a check presentation from title sponsor Royal Honda and the Brinson Family.  Golfers then began their day.  

With perfect weather, a clear day, and the excitement to be supporting a great cause, the golfers returned from their 18 hole adventure with some low scores.  Upon their return, a lunch was served with pulled pork, sliders provided shrimp pasta salad provided by Deanie's Seafood, mac and cheese, jambalaya, and much more.  

In the end, the winners were the many students and families of GSS as the generous support from sponsors and players returned the Fr Harry Tompson Golf Classic to its pre-pandemic glory!
