GSS Supports Hurricane Harvey Victims
The students and teachers at Good Shepherd supported two great causes this week. By bringing in $1.00 to support the Harvey relief efforts, the students and faculty were allowed to wear a New Orleans Saints shirt in support of tonight's home preseason game vs the Baltimore Ravens. In the end, the students and faculty raised $224 that will be sent to the victims of the Hurricane Harvey flooding.
Good Shepherd students also wrote notes and drew pictures for the victims of the mass flooding from Hurricane Harvey. Prayers are being shared by the entire school community for safety and quick recovery for the entire Houston area. The student letters and drawings will be delivered by St. Catherine of Siena Parish who has organized a series of trucks to deliver donated items.
