Challenge Island PK & K

Challenge Island recently visited the PK and K classes at GSS.  Students learned about the location, climate, and natural habitats of penguins and even discovered physical traits of penguins.  The students worked together to create a penguin toboggan ride using their knowledge of inclined planes and potential/kinetic energy. In the end, the students had a great time while learning about art, science, and nature!
