5th Grade PBL: Pot Holes in New Orleans

Authentic Problem Scenario:
New Orleans needs a way to reduce and prevent potholes in the metro area so that we can ensure the safety of our citizens and visitors.
Lenses: Historical, Social, Economical, and Cultural
The Task:
While working in teams, students will examine the issue of potholes concerning the city streets of New Orleans. Teams will develop an idea that will either prevent potholes from forming or provide a more long-term solution to keep potholes from forming. Teams will present their solutions in regard to the Authentic Problem Scenario and defend their proposals through their 4 lenses.
